One of the most recent additions to the Gamo line of the cutting-edge PCP (pre-compressed pneumatic) product line is the new Gamo airgun Coyote Black. The Coyote Black rifle, like its predecessor the Coyote, has a multi-shot mechanism that uses a traditional bolt system to operate a detachable magazine that can carry ten (10) pellets.

The rifle has a fixed, pre-compressed air reservoir built into it. A manometer at the reservoir's end indicates how much compressed air is left. The barrel, which was constructed via cold-forged hammering, is an engineering marvel. As a result, the rifle can fire rounds with remarkable accuracy. The Coyote Black is lighter and more ergonomic thanks to its ambidextrous, synthetic black rifle butt with adjustable cheek piece.

The trigger model used is the CATTM (Custom Action Trigger), a novel technology created by Gamo that allows the shooter to individually modify the trigger's first and second phases. The trajectory of the trigger can be increased simply by tightening the first phase adjustment screw. Simply tightening the screw will shorten the phase 1 trajectory if that is what is desired. Just like the first phase, the second phase adjustment is straightforward. To increase trajectory, you loosen the adjustment screw; to decrease it, you tighten it.
