With its dual output design of infrared and white light beams, Nitecore's new CI7 torch is a true beast. To carry out covert tasks like hunting or search and rescue, infrared lighting is used in conjunction with night vision equipment or infrared cameras. Therefore, why carry separate white and infrared spotlights when you can combine them into one? There is no compromise here: four SST-10-IR LEDs support the 7000nM IR turbo, and four CREE XP-G3 S3 are used for the 2500 lumen white beam.

The tactical tailcap may be used to cycle through the different brightness modes, and the push-rotate torch head makes it simple to switch between the two beam kinds. There is a brightness option for every circumstance, with infrared beams ranging from 7000 to 1000mW and white outputs from 2500 to 5 lumens. Instant strobe access is provided by a Strobe Ready button, which is positioned slightly inset to prevent unintentional activation.
